This product definitely gets it right on three major counts - great color, looks absolutely natural without the orange-y, rusty cast just about all other self tanners give me, and I've tried a number of them from the highest to lowest end. Amazingly, it has absolutely zero self tanner smell, from the time you put it on through the entire "baking" process. I can't imagine how they managed this as there is no heavy masking scent either, just a very light hint of almond. Next, it does not streak or leave "hard" edges as some tanners can when you go too dark and see the line of demarcation between the color and your actual skin tone. The price is great too. I received this lotion in the mail last month and was very excited to try it out. I applied the lotion after taking a shower like it recommended. I LOVE this sunless tan lotion! It does not smell like usual sunless tanning products. The only CON I found was that it leaves your hands brown after applying, but washes away with soap and water. I tried using gloves, but I did not think it applied as easy and as smooth with them on. Definitely recommend it.

This is the first self tanner I have ever tried. I've been using it for about 3 years now and I've tried quite a few others including st tropez, fake bake and others and this is by far my favorite and everything else I have tried was just a huge let down compared to this. For me this is the longest lasting one, basically fool proof to apply it's so easy and does not streak. This is the only one I've found that will make me dark enough, and I just love it. Nothing has beat this for me yet.

I was weary of trying out this product at first...however I am glad I did. It smells AMAZING. Dries very quickly. It WILL stain your hands, but you can scrub your palms with pumice after if not wearing gloves. I just got this yesterday and used it for the first time last night all over my body. It was relatively easy to apply (although I washed my hands throughout the application process to avoid staining them). I was so happy with the results that I used it on my face when I woke up this morn. I just went into the bathroom at work and was like, "I look tan!!" I've been avoiding the sun for the past three years, so it's the first time I've seen myself tan in a long time, and I love it!! It is a nice, golden color, too--exactly the way my skin looks when it's really tan. The smell is nice when you put it on, but it does fade into that self-tanner smell after awhile. Very good, realistic color from a self-tanner from Ipswich, MA Verified Purchaser
The best quality of this self-tanner is that it contains a color guide that actually stains your skin (some of it washes off, but part of the color guide remains and is longlasting) and so the color guard tint adds to the DHA self-tanner color...this makes the resulting "tan" more realistic than a DHA self-tan alone would be. Normally I avoid self-tanners with color guides as they tend to be messy, to stain clothing and look dirty, but this product's color guide actually has a purpose in that it improves the final tan color. That usually isn't the case, especially with most drugstore self-tanners. Also, this product has very little of that unattractive self-tanner scent. Lastly, because the concentration of DHA is quite high, you use less (one or two coats) to get a dark color, but you avoid being orange because of the residual stain of the color guide. The end result is a reddish brown tan color. This is pricey, but will last a long time and a worthwhile investment if you tend to turn orange with self-tanners. Good product! Review posted 11/7/2012.
