Sun Labs Dark

Things To Do Before You Apply Sun Labs Dark Indoor Tanner LotionPreparing the skin is a crucial part of indoor tanning. This allows Sun Labs Dark tanner to produce a realistic fake suntan that lasts for several days. Before you start to press the pump of that Sun Labs Dark lotion bottle, read the following first.

The active ingredient of Sun Labs Dark indoor tanning solution is called DHA. This sugar-based substance darkens the skin by reacting with the proteins in dead cells sitting on it. Certainly, applying DHA on an uneven layer of dead cells won't produce a smooth brown color. A blotchy result will easily reveal the fact that the complexion you have came from a bottle.

Exfoliation has to be done prior to the application of your Sun Labs Dark UV-free tanner. Doing so will polish your skin's topmost layer, removing excessive amounts of dead cells. While taking a shower, exfoliate using a loofah or sponge.

It's not recommendable to use body scrub solutions being sold at the supermarket or beauty store. These products usually contain oily ingredients which may coat the skin and prevent DHA in Sun Labs Dark lotion from being fully absorbed. Going for the exfoliating body gel being offered by the manufacturer of Sun Labs Dark self tanning solution is a better idea.

After exfoliating, shaving has to be done. When you rub on Sun Labs Dark tanner on unshaven skin, it is likely to collect around each hair strand and this will only lead to a blotchy fake suntan. Further, DHA tend to give unwanted hair a matted appearance, something which definitely looks odd. On the day you are planning on getting a tan indoors, shave off unwanted hair.

Some women prefer waxing than shaving. If you're one of them, do it at least a day before you apply your Sun Labs Dark indoor tanning solution. You don't want the residue left behind by the wax to stop DHA to complete its job.

DHA found in the product tend to be absorbed more in dryer areas of the body. Because of this, many people who are into the use of indoor tanning lotions are likely to end up with darker elbows and knees which definitely look unflattering. Worry not because this common problem can be quickly solved with the help of your everyday hand and body moisturizing lotion. Simply apply some on the elbows and knees prior to spreading your Sun Labs Dark UV-free tanner all over the body.

Remember to wear latex or plastic gloves to keep the palms from absorbing DHA. If they're not available, just see to it that you frequently wash your hands during the application. Allow the solution to dry up completely before putting on your clothes.

Prepare the skin in the right way before you begin to use your Sun Labs Dark lotion. This ensures that the resulting fake tan is free of blotches. Once the effect of DHA shows up, regularly apply a moisturizer to make the lovely color last for several days. Exfoliating while the result is gradually lightening is recommended to keep the fake suntan even throughout the body.

Instant natural looking tan! from Streetsboro, OH Verified Purchaser
Finally! Results in ONE night, no orangey color, no stained clothes! I used this product 3 nights in a row and instantly had a great looking tan! AND it really made my skin feel great after washing it off the next day... like it added oil-free moisture! I tend to have problematic skin (redness, dry patches but also breakouts on my back) and so sunless tanners usually add to the problems but not this one. Review posted 12/24/2012.

The most 'natural-looking' tan I've ever had out of a bottle! LD from Montgomery, AL Verified Purchaser
'Sun' is a terrific self-tanning lotion. You need only to apply it every other day, using regular moisturizing lotion in between, to keep the nice brown tan. There are no orange hues to your skin. People actually have commented on my nice tan. I recommend it highly to anyone who is looking for healthy color without the sun's harmful rays. Review posted 7/22/2012.

Smells great! from pomona, NY
I was weary of trying out this product at first...however I am glad I did. It smells AMAZING. Dries very quickly. It WILL stain your hands, but you can scrub your palms with pumice after if not wearing gloves. It's a nice even application with minimal streaking after day 2 and 3 (like most products) Review posted 7/7/2012.

Very believable color - without streaks or funny smell! from Glastonbury, CT Verified Purchaser
This is the best self tanner I ever used. The color looks totally natural - brown, not the orange look I've had from virtually every other tanner. The brown color guide helps a lot, so there is not streaking whatsoever. My best advice would be to keep washing your hands frequently as you apply the tanner. The first time I used it, I didn't wash my hands until the end and it took me literally ten minutes to get all the rubbed in color off my hands. I also needed to use a pumice. But the good news is my palms had no hint of color on them in the morning, so the pumice idea is actually great. Review posted 6/25/2012.

Awesome self-tanner!! from San Francisco, CA Verified Purchaser
I just got this yesterday and used it for the first time last night all over my body. It was relatively easy to apply (although I washed my hands throughout the application process to avoid staining them). I was so happy with the results that I used it on my face when I woke up this morn. I just went into the bathroom at work and was like, 'I look tan!!' I've been avoiding the sun for the past three years, so it's the first time I've seen myself tan in a long time, and I love it!! It is a nice, golden color, too--exactly the way my skin looks when it's really tan. The smell is nice when you put it on, but it does fade into that self-tanner smell after awhile. That and the price are the only drawbacks--well worth it in my opinion. Review posted 3/12/2012.
